Christianity is the good news of God’s Kingdom that demands a response.

Key Text: Mark 1:12-15

We see that Jesus begins his ministry by proclaiming the message of Christianity. That message is the good new of God’s Kingdom and the response that it demands. The good news is that Jesus took our place on the cross, and died the death that we deserved. He proclaims that the Kingdom of God is at hand. We see how the it is here today, in our hearts, but it is also going to be fully realized one day in the future. Finally, we see that this message demands a response. Jesus says “repent and believe”, this is the response we are called to.
