Morgan & Caroline Timeney
College Ministry Directors
One interesting fact about meI’m from a real place called Kalamazoo. Yes, there really is a Kalamazoo.
What do you do at Redemption Hill?I, along with my much better half Caroline, lead the College Ministry.
How did you learn about Jesus?Unlike a lot of people down here, I didn’t grow up in church. It wasn’t until May of my senior year in high school that I went to church consistently. God was working in amazing ways, though, because when I moved down here (a feat in itself, a home body being 800 miles from home) I started going to Redemption Hill (When it was still in the Theater) and I met an awesome group of people who led me to the light and I haven’t looked back since.

How did you learn about Jesus?I started going to church when I was 2 weeks old. I’ve been surrounded by Jesus fearing family all of my life, and I’ve been taught and shown the love of Jesus by my parent’s marriage. I had always been a part of the children’s ministry, youth ministry, Sunday school, choir, and numerous trips with the church. One day I was riding in the car with my mom and began asking her more and more about Him. I asked her if she would help me pray to receive Him as my Savior. I knew that I needed the saving power of Jesus because I was a sinner. I was only about 8 years old. Following in the Lord’s instruction, I was baptized. It was the greatest decision of my life.
