About Us
Learn more about who we are & what we believe

Whether in Erwin or Linden, each campus of Redemption Hill Church has the same mission and the same goal. The gospel is at the heart of everything we do. That is why you will find people who are committed to theologically sound bible teaching, dedicated to serving God through the local church, and passionate about helping their community at both our campus.
Mission
Our mission is to glorify God by making disciples of Jesus Christ through displaying and proclaiming His gospel locally and globally.
There is little denying that we derive our mission from the Great Commission that Jesus gives in Matthew. We believe the Great Commission is the mission of the universal church: go and make disciples. That is why our mission statement borrows so heavily from Jesus’ command. That is also why our mission is at the heart of everything we do at Redemption Hill. Not because it sounds good on paper, but because it is a commandment from God. Go and make disciples.
Vision
At Redemption Hill Church, our vision is to see people redeemed by the gospel, disciples growing in the gospel, and churches planted for the gospel.
Core Values
How we work toward completing our mission on a day-to-day basis is focused on four core values:
Relevant Exegetical Preaching
Redemption through the gospel of Jesus Christ is central. Because of our actions, attitude and nature, we are in bondage and have been separated from God. At Redemption Hill, we proclaim, celebrate and participate in the redemption purchased by Jesus Christ for His people. The Spirit of God makes the reading, but especially the preaching of the word, an effectual means of convincing and converting sinners, and of building them up in holiness and comfort through faith unto salvation. We like to work through books of the bible in our Sunday morning corporate worship.
Authentic Community
Community is crucial. We are made to be in relationship with others. Redemption Hill Church seeks to be a community of those who are in bondage, those who desire to be free and those who have been freed. All are welcomed and valued in the community at Redemption Hill Church. We do this through community groups scattered throughout our area that are welcoming, intentional, and our primary place of care.
Great Commission Missions Focus
Throughout the story of the Bible, God reveals himself as One who sends us into the world to display His goodness and love in ways that give Him glory. We seek to serve God’s purposes locally, regionally, and globally.
God Centered Worship
We are made valuing something. At Redemption Hill Church, we practice and proclaim the reality that God alone is supremely valuable. Our gathered worship is God-centered and seeks to connect to our context in a fresh relevant manner.
